Which IPTV box is better?

Which IPTV box is better ? and what is IPTV?

Before defining what an IPTV box is best, we should first understand what the acronym IPTV means in the first place.

WHAT IS IPTV?

IPTV stands for "Internet Protocol Television." As the name suggests, IPTV services and devices transmit television content over the Internet. This may include live streaming video or on-demand content.
This may sound a bit ambiguous, but that this definition does seem broad. For example, IPTV does not have a popular streaming platform like Netflix or icflix. Instead of connecting to a specific website, using IPTV services connects you to a specific server via your Internet connection and a separate player (hardware or software). With a subscription to a particular service, you will have access to their channels and content which are then relayed to your television screen. But to see IPTV content first, you're going to need your IPTV box. This can be a very confusing category. There seems to be a "million" choice over there. Let me just try the selection process. For this post, I'm going to break down the main players:

The Best IPTV Boxes You Can Buy

1.Roku Devices

2.Android TV Devices

3.Apple TV

4.Amazon Firesticks

5.Everything else.

1.Roku Devices

First, let's talk about Roku devices, Roku has had a steam box on the market since 2008. They are by far the easiest to use and very powerful. Roku controls around 50% of the streaming device market, and it has recently been reported that 1 in 4 SMART TVs sold in the U.S. is Roku TV. so ... Roku pretty much has that market.

2.Android TV Devices

This is a huge category due to the number of manufacturers in China who are building Android boxes. However, we can easily narrow this category down by watching only Google-certified Android TV devices. Regardless of the number of boxes "built by China" say they are Google certified, don't fall for it. For years, China has been selling boxes in the United States with spyware and other embedded malware - designed to hack the IPTV streams that you look at and provide them with that data.
They are not going to tell you the truth as to whether their box is certified. So how do you know? Easy, go to Android.com/TV and watch the devices. Two boxes that do very well here in the United States are the MiBox and the Nvidia Sheild.

3.Apple TV

It's a tough pill for Apple lovers to swallow: Apple TV is irrelevant. Apple shot itself in the foot from the start by being very content restrictive ... and it doesn't help that their box costs $ 150. Even Apple users buy Rokus.

 4.Amazons Firestick

Few manufacturers are concerned with them as the competition. For most homeowners ... they will go straight to the trash in a few years. They are poorly constructed, overheat and struggle with traditional channel guides because they do not have the processing power. They are "cheap" for a reason. In comparison, my first Roku (Roku 2) was purchased in 2011 and was trouble-free and still works perfectly.
Everything else. We will talk about google chrome here. The first thing to understand about the Chromecast dongle is that it is designed to allow you to "cast" from your browser or phone to your TV. The apps are limited, but if you launch a lot ... it's probably not a bad way to go. But if you prefer to watch Netflix, Hulu, and a host of other Android TV-focused products ... you might not like Chromecast. Keeping it simple. Stay with a certified Android TV device or Roku device.
